# Sail Racing Academy

> Sail Racing Academy (SRA) is a UK-based offshore yacht racing and sail training organisation operating across the UK, Caribbean, and Mediterranean. We run gap year and sabbatical sailing programmes, mile-builder passages, RYA qualification courses, and competitive offshore racing — including major events such as the RORC Caribbean 600, the Rolex Fastnet Race, Antigua Sailing Week, and ARC transatlantic crossings.

SRA is built around hands-on, crewed offshore experience rather than fixed shore-based training. Participants join a working racing crew, sail across up to three continents in a single season, and can work towards RYA qualifications while racing and cruising. Programmes range from one week to a full year and are open to all experience levels, from complete beginners to experienced offshore sailors.
