I grew up in northern Germany, where the Dutch border meets the North Sea. Although water has always been around, I only started yacht sailing around five years ago when I moved to Belgium. Since then, I have spent quite a bit of time on boats, trips took me to Holland, Italy and Greece. On shore, I have lived in different European capitals and just quit my job as Government Advisor in Brussels – so I’ve got all the time and mind in the world to enjoy this marvelous trip!
