The Bay of Biscay Crossing, often referred to simply as the “Biscay Crossing,” is a renowned maritime journey that spans the vast expanse of the Bay of Biscay in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean. We ensure there is always a professional instructor onboard to answer questions and give guidance.
Please bear in mind that our schedule is subject to change if bad weather forces us to delay departures, pull in to wait out a storm, we have to make any last-minute changes due to any unforeseen circumstances.
This is a Yachtmaster Ocean qualifying passage IF no stops are made due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a stop be necessary for whatever reason, it would no qualify.

What to Expect
Before the trip begins, you’ll receive Joining Instructions with detailed information on your journey, an information form you must complete, and a link to join a WhatsApp group with all your fellow crew members.
Day 1Arrival on Boat, Training and Briefing
12:00 – Safety briefing, familiarisation and boat prep.
Exact day and time of leaving port will depend on the weather.
The crossing should only take 2-3 days to complete, but we always factor in extra time for weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Day 7A Coruña Arrival
We are scheduled to arrive in A Coruña on this day if everything goes accordingly.
