For the 2026 BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival the waters off the British Virgin Islands will be filled again with competitors from across the globe coming to the warm waters. The sheer natural beauty of the islands, the pristine crystal waters and consistent trade winds makes this a very special place to race and is one of the Caribbean’s best annual race events.
This week long festival will take you all around the beautiful British Virgin Islands and we will be taking part in both the two day Sailing Festival and the three days of the Regatta itself. Between the Festival and the Regatta will be a lay day to give you the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings.
This is a great experience that keeps bringing the same faces back each year, proving just how popular it is with the sailing community.
We will be based at Nanny Cay Marina in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
The nearest airport is the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport which is about a 35 minute drive from Nanny Cay Marina. Transport to and from the airport is not covered in your race fee.
Meet your skipper and crew around 9am in St Thomas, followed by a safety brief and a quick clean of the boat. You will spend the day getting to know your crew and sailing between St Thomas and Tortola. If you are unable to join in St Thomas, please meet the boat at Nanny Cay Marina in the evening on the 31st of March, 2026.

My favourite part was the Learning Bow – Germaine teaching me, the final race where we were 12s off third. Really good week, Germaine was a great teacher – super accommodating to all my requirements and what I wanted to learn – recommended – the perfect place to launch your racing!
My favourite part was the last day race, learning and team spirit
