Have you ever fancied losing yourself among the beautiful islands of the Caribbean? Racing in the Caribbean’s top regattas or swimming in the pristine waters surrounded by exotic fish and turtles all while perfecting your sailing skills? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, then Sail Racing Academy can help to make this a reality.
Our Caribbean tour is perfect for sailors of any ability. Enjoy embracing the beauty of the area and the hospitality of the islands as you hop from one beautiful location to the next, compete in the multiple regattas in the region or simply hop off and explore.
Our experienced Skipper will teach you on board safety, boat handling and anchoring among other skills, with the added bonus of night sails and the option to gain additional qualifications. During the daytime, there will be opportunities to swim in the sea, visit traditionally unreachable sandy beaches and explore underwater paradises. Evenings will be spent on land, enjoying the local hospitality, cuisine and rum punches that the Caribbean is famous for.
This isn’t an adventure for those who only want to sunbathe on the beach; this is an unforgettable experience for those who want to have fun, develop new skills and make friendships that last a lifetime. It’s an opportunity to discover new worlds above and below the water line.
Departs from St Lucia or join us anywhere along the way
Join us as we explore the Grenadines, taking in Union Island and some incredible waterfalls.
Join us for Round Barbados Sailing Week; the first race of the season and a great opportunity to network and get to grips with round-the-cans racing.
Grenada Sailing Week is a smaller regatta but one of our most experienced skippers describes it as their favourite.
A hugely popular part of our Caribbean season and a great chance to relax and visit some of the islands only accessible by boat and often forgotten. A wealth of hidden treasures.
There is a huge variety of options to suit every taste and budget this week. Join us for the Caribbean 600 for 4-5 days of amazing offshore racing, explore the island of Antigua or attend our partner’s training sessions to secure RYA training. You won’t get bored during this week.
An opportunity to practice the sailing skills you’ve developed so far and take on more responsibility whilst our professional skipper acts as a safety net in case you require some additional support.
Ok, that’s far too much excitement, now is the perfect time to relax a little. This is a good week to explore St Martin, cruise around the island and recuperate in preparation for the next few regattas.
Although we aren’t able to compete in the Bucket Regatta (the minimum requirement is 30.5 meter long vessels), we will explore the island and take in the atmosphere.
Back to back events that consistently deliver excellent racing set over the backdrop of the US and British Virgin islands,
Hike, swim, practice your sailing skills and explore. Anchor in a different bay every day, snorkel and perfect your culinary skills.
Our last regatta of the year.
Hop on board for a trip back to Antigua for an easy connection home or join us for the transatlantic race.
