Hi! My name is Lise and I`m a sailor. From 2007 I have owned and been captain on a First 31.7, later First 27.7, sailing both cruising and regatta every year since then. So you understand why a First 40.7 caught my attention 🙂 I have also been sailing regattas with Snipe dinghy regularly since 2022. I got my Pleasure Craft Skipper’s Certificate (D5L) from the Norwegian maritime authorities in 2021. I have also been cruising in the Mediterranean Sea several times. No ocean crossing experience, apart from crossing the Skagerak sea now and then, also at night. I am a keen racer but can also enjoy relaxed cruising.
I am a medical doctor, specialized in Occupational medicine and thus I have particular focus on prevention. I will take safety seriously on our crossing and use the recommended personal safety equipment.
I am doing this adventure together with my daughter Julia. I think I am pretty easy to get along with and focus on the positive side of most situations. I am solution-oriented, adventurous and like challenges. I do speak Norwegian, Swedish, English and Italian. Apart from sailing, I do love hanging out with family and friends, my work, skiing, traveling, cooking, reading, film, renovations, gardening – and doing absolutely nothing.
