Experience the thrill of the Loro Piana Giraglia, one of the most prestigious events in the Mediterranean racing calendar. Join us for a week of world-class sailing that combines exciting inshore racing in the Bay of Saint-Tropez with the challenge of an iconic offshore passage to Genoa, Italy.

The event begins in glamorous Saint-Tropez, where crews test their skill and teamwork in a series of competitive inshore races along the beautiful French Riviera. It all builds up to the renowned offshore leg, a 240-mile course that rounds the famous Giraglia Rock off Corsica before finishing in Genoa.

A perfect mix of competition, camaraderie and Mediterranean flair, the Loro Piana Giraglia offers an unforgettable experience for both seasoned racers and passionate sailors alike.

Departure & Return Location

Start location: Saint-Tropez, France.

Finish location: Genoa, Italy.

Course length (offshore leg): ~241–243 nautical miles via Giraglia Rock.

What to Expect for an SRA Trip

No PassengersAlthough we are happy to provide sight seeing adventures, this experience is an Ocean race. You can expect to be actively involved in sailing the boat, there isn't any rail meat on our boats. Please expect the prep week to be hard work, getting a boat ready to cross an ocean is a huge undertaking, we can't do it without everyone pulling in the same direction, this is also a great opportunity to learn the systems onboard and bond with your fellow crew mates.
Racing across an oceanWe love sailing but for us racing adds that extra something special, working as a team, powered only by the wind, through squalls and becalmed weather, this extra challenge makes the arrival all that more rewarding.
Professional InstructionOur Skippers are experienced instructors that make every crew member feel welcome and tailor their delivery to the experience and style of the crew
Competitive boatAlthough the taking part is often fun, we believe the full experience comes from pushing ourselves to the max and competing with other boats on the water with a view to win

Days 1-2 - 11th - 12th June 2026Arrival, Training and Preparation Days

Arrival in Saint-Tropez and welcome on board. Meet your skipper and crew, followed by a safety brief and the regatta programme. You will spend the day getting to know your crew, preparing the boat for the regatta—including cleaning and organising—and training to bind the team into a race crew.
