Le fait de ne pas étre propriétaire d’un bateau de courses ne devrait pas être un obstacle pour en profiter et régater. Nous combinons, tout simplement, un équipage qui souhaite naviguer avec des skippers expérimentés.
Notre objectif est d’amener le plus grand nombre de personnes à participer et à vivre une expérience inoubliable.
La sécurité est prioritaire et nous permettons à tous d’avoir une expérience de la course au large dans un environnement positif. Nous aimerions terminer en haut du tableau des leaders, mais les personnes à bord seront toujours prioritaires.
Notre programme jeunesse permet de soutenir la prochaine génération de marins qui gravissent les échelons. En subventionnant les coûts pour nos plus jeunes membres, nous sommes en mesure de redonner à la communauté.
Having spent a busy season in Greece as a Flotilla First Mate, Alex is eager to hone her racing skills with Sail Racing Academy as an Apprentice. When she’s not on the water, you’ll find her taking pictures and writing articles about being on the water
Leander was born in Germany but has lived in Hong Kong for the last 7 years. He started sailing when he was 11 in Germany on the Baltic Sea and never stopped since then. Now he’s joining Sail Racing Academy to further develop his skills and live his dream of sailing the world’s oceans.
Lorraine joined Sail Racing Academy in December 2023, bringing her exceptional organisational and creative skills. As an administrator, she ensures smooth operations behind the scenes. Her dedication and attention to detail are invaluable to SRA.
Having sailed dinghy’s from a young age, Oscar has subsequently taken to yacht sailing and racing. With a strong passion for sail trimming and often found to be running around the boats trying to do everything himself, Oscar is a great person to learn all the ropes and get a good understanding of all the roles on board.
James started with the company as an apprentice and through his time as a first mate in the Mediterranean and completing the Rolex Middle Sea Race has worked his way up to skippering for Sail Racing Academy. Having grown up sailing and racing in the solent and with a passion for instructing, James prides himself on finding the balance between having fun and personal development.
From a background of competitive sailing and having owned a Trimaran, Andy thrives in helping to bring the best out of both crew and boat. His mission is to find out those talents and skills you didn’t think you had and give you the trust, freedom and confidence to use them.
