We’re thrilled to announce that Sail Racing Academy will be racing for the first time in the 2026 Antigua Bermuda Race, the fifth running of this classic ocean challenge. The race starts from Antigua on April 29, 2026, offering an extraordinary offshore sailing experience across the western Atlantic.
Managed by the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club in association with Antigua Sailing Week, and supported by the Bermuda Tourism Authority, Goslings Rum, and Fairhaven Shipyard, the event attracts yachts and crews from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels.

Experience the thrill of leaving the shore behind, riding the trade winds, rolling with the seas, and navigating under the night sky with Bermuda as your goal. Whether you’re an experienced sailor or looking for your first offshore challenge, this race promises unforgettable adventure and teamwork.
Departure: Antigua (the fleet sets sail north from Antigua, passing Barbuda shortly after departure).
Return: Bermuda (the finish is off the coast of Bermuda)
The safety briefing and first day of training starts at 09:00 on the 28th of April.

Arrival in Antigua and welcome on board at 9am. You will be met by your skipper and other team members, followed by a safety brief and the regatta programme. The day will include getting to know your crew, cleaning and organising the boat, and making final preparations for the regatta.
The race commences from Antigua (off Fort Charlotte) on April 29 at 12:00 local time.
