Antigua Sailing Week is one of the Caribbean’s most iconic and celebrated sailing events, drawing sailors, spectators, and enthusiasts from across the globe for an unforgettable week of racing and festivities. Over the past two decades, the regatta has become a major highlight on the international sailing calendar, attracting Olympic sailors, professional crews, and passionate amateurs alike. The event is famous for its scenic point-to-point race courses that showcase Antigua’s breathtaking coastline, turquoise waters, and steady trade winds. Each race concludes at a different picturesque destination around the island, creating a unique experience both on and off the water.
But Antigua Sailing Week is much more than just a sailing competition, it is a true celebration of Caribbean culture and community spirit. Throughout the week, the island comes alive with music, beach parties, carnivals, and vibrant after-race socials where crews and visitors gather to celebrate another incredible day at sea. Antigua’s rich sailing history, warm hospitality, and energetic atmosphere make this event unlike any other regatta in the world. From relaxing on white-sand beaches to enjoying lively nightlife and world-class racing, Antigua Sailing Week offers the perfect balance of competition, adventure, and island celebration for sailors and travelers alike.

The safety briefing and first day of training starts at 12:00 noon on the 17th of April.
As this is the first year the event has been split into two sections, some details may be subject to change before the events begin.
Arrival in Antigua and welcome on board at noon. You will be met by your skipper and other team members, followed by a safety brief and the regatta programme. The day will include getting to know your crew, cleaning and organising the boat, and making final preparations for the regatta.
Continue any final boat preparations and training in the morning, then enjoy an evening of fun hosted by the race organisers.
